Wildcats are making history🐾 Elle Purrier St. Pierre ‘18 made history this past weekend at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. The former Wildcat and 2023 colsa.unh commencement speaker won the 3,000-meter race and set a new American record of eight minutes and 20 seconds. This record time also made St. Pierre the first American woman to ever win this event. Elle Purrier St. Pierre is one of the most decorated athletes in UNH history. When she graduated in 2018, St. Pierre held 14 unhxctf track and field records in individual and relay events and competed in NCAA championship finals in multiple disciplines — including cross-country and the 3,000 meter steeplechase.   #ThisIsUNH #UNHAlumni #UNHWildcats elleruns_4_her_life unhwildcats
