Happy Tom Miller Day!
Originally declared by Baltimore Mayor Kurt Schmoke in 1995, February 18 honors the life and artwork of Tom Miller (1945-2000), a Baltimorean artist best known for his "Afro-Deco" painted furniture. Miller's work explores history and race through color, whimsy, wit, and design.
