Mark your calendars and join our in-person film screening: "High Tide in Dorchester" on Wednesday, March 16, 6-7:30pm.
Learn about the effects of
#ClimateChange and rising sea levels on
#DorchesterCounty. This low-lying county on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay is the fourth largest coastal landscape of Maryland’s 23 counties by land area, but it is destined to drop to the 14th largest by 2100—or sooner—as waters rise and erosion worsens.
Following the film screening a Q&A will take place with Dave Harp, documentarian; Lynn Cazabon, featured artist of our "Losing Winter" exhibition; Mike Tidwell, founder and director of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network; and Alex Green, life-long resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore and owner of Harriet Tubman Tours LLC.
Head to our "Program Calendar" in the bio link to register.
