Play ball! Baseball season is here and opening day for the Baltimore Orioles is today. This Louisville Slugger brand baseball bat was used by former Orioles shortstop Cal Ripken Jr. The bat is comprised of a finished dark wood handle with a black painted end branded with the maker's logo. Ripken was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007 and still holds the record for most consecutive games played. Ripken also wore these black and orange Nike Air baseball cleats. On the inside of the shoe the number 8 is drawn in marker, correlating to Ripken's number on the Orioles.
