Breaking news! 🚨 Together with seven other companies committed to buying renewable energy, we’re helping to refurbish a 55-megawatt wind farm in Big Spring, Texas, which would otherwise have been decommissioned. Under the contract, which was brokered by our partner Ever.green we’ve pledged to buy a portion of the renewable energy certificates (RECs) that will be issued by the Ocotillo Windpower facility over the next five to 10 years along with companies such as brooksrunning , atlassian , and Trimble. Thanks to Ever.green for being such an amazing partner and making all of this possible, even for a small business like us! While we’re not only excited about being able to participate in building utility scale infrastructure and help drive systemic change, we love that we’re able to do it through the lens of emissionality by building it in an area of the world where 64% of the power grid is still run off of fossil fuels.
