TIPS FOR 24.2 💥💥 ▪️Athlete 1: Deads are guaranteed unbroken and dubs are a rest. This is just a rowing interval workout with active recovery on the other movements. How fast can you push BUT also MAINTAIN the speed on the rower WHILE maintaining quick transitions and unbroken reps. It’s possible to get 10+ rounds thats 3k meters of rowing . 2-3k ish pace would be ideal. ▪️Athlete 2: The weight is a little or a lot heavy and/or the dubs are definitely not a rest. It’s the exact opposite of athlete 1. Smooth and paced. The rower becomes the active recovery. You can’t push this. Row in order to be ready to do work on the deads + dubs. This is a couplet with a 300 meter active recovery in between each round. This athlete can get 5-7 rounds maybe. In an amrap like this it’s nice to have a pace goal based on how much work you think you may get done. Be conservative with the goal and you can always pick up the pace at the 5min mark.
