Sailing her way into HERstory!! In honor of #internationalwomensday, we’re recognizing Cole Brauer, the first solo American woman to race around the world! Yesterday, the 29-year-old from Long Island, New York finished competing in the Global Solo Challenge after a grueling four months. Brauer led the pack for the first part of the race but fell behind when she experienced issues near Cape Horn that left her with injured ribs and many believing she’d have to pull into port.
