The championship final of the 2024 Cal South Adult Open State Cup, hosted by the UPSL, will be held tomorrow on Sunday, March 10th at 4:30PM PST in the Championship Soccer Stadium at the OC Great Park Sports Complex, 8272 Great Park Blvd, Irvine, CA 92618. The teams competing for the Open State Cup title are Chiriaco FC (Coachella, CA) vs. Downtown LA (Los Angeles, CA) Recently crowned UPSL National Champions, Chiriaco FC will face fellow UPSL Southern California top team Downtown Los Angeles. Both teams are set to compete this upcoming UPSL Spring season and have very strong reputations in our area. Chiriaco are known to put together top semi-pro and adult sides composed of active and former pros, and Downtown LA is a very successful top academy in the heart of Los Angeles. This year’s championship team at the Cal South Adult Open State Cup will win a grand prize of $10,000.
