We went to Sweden to drift on an ice lake the new MINI Countryman JCW. As a reminder, the new MINI Countryman delivers 312 hp to all four wheels. There is also a boost feature which can be activated via the paddle shifter on the steering wheel giving you 19 hp (14 kW) for 10 seconds at a time. Despite being the same engine as in the X2 M35i I drove a day earlier, the software tuning on the MINI Countryman JCW was different, fitting to the character of the MINI.
