Growing up in a family of pretty academic people, it’s always been a bit of a running joke where the filmmaker came from. When we stumbled upon a box of old 8mm and DV tapes in a closet and finally got them digitized, it all kinda started to make a little more sense. Grandpa Jerry was a pilot by trade, but never left his camera behind (now I know where I get it from..) I’m going to start cutting together a little bit of this stuff as we sort through it - starting with a Matterhorn ski adventure from, we’re guessing, 1955ish.
