Participating in the cookie program helps fuel adventures for Girl Scouts year-round! 🍪 Troop 3882 goals are just ~beach.~ They progressed from Camp Surf to Coronado and Catalina, to Lake Arrowhead and finally Hawaii! “As our eighth-grade cookie sales came to an end in 2020, we had over $5,000 in savings and the inability to go anywhere. We always joked about Maui since elementary school, and now it was a possibility. We were frugal for the next three years and continued to have strong cookie seasons. This past summer, we traveled to Maui for four nights and stayed at a VRBO. Our big expenses were flights and lodging. We had one big spend which was snorkeling with turtles and going out to Molokini. We did community service, hiked to waterfalls, had a lot of beach and chill time, and ate a lot of shaved ice.” What troop experiences have you had with your cookie program funds?
