This week we celebrate Matthew “Matt” Kurtz as our #SMFSundaySeniorSpotlight! He is a senior at Stow Munroe Falls High School and a triple letterman, lettering in Golf, Baseball, and Choir. He was co-captain of the Varsity Men’s golf team this year, earning a Student-Athlete Award, the Mr.Cool award, Most Improved Player (each year for four years), and received Honorable Mention. Matt will be accompanying the SMFHS Choir to Nashville in March, where they will record at the RCA Studios on Music Row, and he will be taking the mound this Spring to pitch with the Varsity Men’s Baseball team. Matt is an active member of our church youth group, mentors younger players, is a standing substitute in the Tallmadge Pickleball League, a supportive big brother, and an excellent son, friend, grandson, and nephew. Matt has been invited to play Golf at Mount Union this fall, where he plans to attend to study Mechanical Engineering! #Classof2024
