Wandering around. After we paddled through Lake Powell and made our way to lands we hiked through Antelope Canyon through Glen Canyon National Park. It truly feels like a different world when you’re walking. Ziggy loves to explore and she doesn’t let her little legs stop her, unless she truly can do it herself, then I’ll give her a little lift! We hiked about 2 miles before we turned back around. Tip: It’s important to do your research to make sure that you have a successful and safe trip. Although I went on this trip, unguided, a tip I was given was to go down to the launch and wait for tours to come by and head out at the same time they do. I did this, so I wasn’t completely alone. There was a tour ahead of me and a tour behind me. With every adventure, it’s important you have the resources, such as apps to check weather, conditions and maps.
