We are excited to formally announce that the WCHS will be running a TNR program March 24th for feral, roaming, and colony cats in Rosalia. Trap, Neuter, Release is the only safe and humane way to handle cat overpopulation. We will still be offering our usual TNR program for all of Whitman County, but this month we are coming to you!! For questions regarding how to get involved with your own feral colony, reach out to us at
staff@whitmanpets.org or call
(509) 332-3422 to talk with someone at the shelter.
Not interested this time, or unable to make it the 24th? No worries! We are planning on working with Rosalia through the summer. The solution to cat colony growth is to get all those Tom’s and Mama cats spayed and neutered.
For our Pullman people: We are still recruiting volunteers for this event! To get hands on experience serving your community, go to our website and sign on up. We will be managing transport for all volunteers, so don’t worry about the transport.
