Woodlands is heading to Glens Falls next week after grinding out a 72-66 overtime win against West Hempstead on Saturday in a NYSPHSAA Class B regional final at Yorktown High School. A state final four appearance was not part of the conversation when the season got under way. “Glens Falls wasn’t even on our minds,” senior guard Eric Woodberry said. It’s been nearly a decade since Woodlands last boarded a bus and travelled up the Northway. The Falcons lost in the championship game to Westhill in 2015. “We’ve been talking about it this the past week at practice, how much this means to us and the community,” junior center Jamison Stevens said. “We put a lot of work in for this and joke around about what we’re going to do in Glens Falls.
