It's SeattleKraken gameday! Seattle continues a five-game homestand, as they take on the VegasGoldenKnights in a big bout in the Wild Card chase and for the first time since the Winter Classic.
Our key Kraken player to watch in tonight's game is forward Jordan Eberle. Ebs is expected to play in his 1000th regular-season NHL game tonight. Originally selected by Edmonton with the 22nd-overall pick in 2010, Eberle is set to become the fifth skater from his draft class to appear in 1,000 games. In addition, the forward is nearing three other NHL career milestones, entering tomorrow's game one assist shy of 400 career assists, five points shy of 700 career points and four goals shy of 300 career goals. Eberle is second in franchise history among all Seattle skaters in all categories with 144 points (tied), 55 goals and 89 assists in 220 games with the Kraken.
