The age old question… Should you be doing cardio before or after your strength workouts?!🤔 The answer might surprise you!!👉🏼 It truly depends on your goal: 💪🏼IF YOU want to primarily GAIN MUSCLE/STRENGTH: Do you cardio AFTER. You want the majority of your energy going into your lifts, so leave the cardio for after your workout OR plan a separate day for cardio and use it as active recovery. 💪🏼IF YOU want to primarily GAIN ENDURANCE/SPEED: Do your cardio before the workout so that the highest amount of effort and energy is going into the portion of your workout that most reflects your goals. 💪🏼IF YOU want to primarily LOSE BODY FAT/WEIGHT: Do your cardio at the end of your workout. Studies have shown that cardio at the end of the workout burns more fat by accessing leftover energy stores since your body is already fatigued.
