Today we recognized Transgender Day of Remembrance and paused to remember the lives lost to anti-trans violence. The recognition was especially challenging in light of the mass shooting this weekend at Club Q in Colorado Springs. As we remember the lives lost, we renew our commitments to work toward creating a world where all people are respected, valued, and cherished.
