Repost from @jassalinass : “32 years ago, the 300 mph barrier in Drag Racing was broken by Kenny Bernstein (I was 2 months olds))! I’ve seen a few rings floating around that @hra had given out to drivers for accomplishing similar monumental speed feats throughout the years. So when our @teamscrappers Top Fuel team became the first to break 300 mph to the 1/8th mile last season, we knew we had to do something special to ensure their achievements were equally recognized. Because being the FIRST to 300 mph in almost half the distance is pretty insane! @acave1107 and I worked together to design a ring that detailed our team’s achievements while also calling attention to each individual who helped make it happen. We made sure to include the record breaking run numbers and the track where history was made. And of course, each guy had their ring personalized with their name.
