#TackleReading is a movement to encourage a love of literacy with a passion for football across the country. This educational initiative is supported by the NFL, legends and alumni. On March 1, the detroitlionsnfl partnered with cityyear to bring this event to life at Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary-Middle School on Detroit’s west side. Friends from the Lions brought a book to life with an assembly to kick off reading month, and each student left with a donated Dr. Seuss book. The Lions have been partnering with cityyeardetroit for more than five years to bring support and literacy events like these to the students of Detroit. ❤️ #InspireChange
