Meet Meghan Hale, the production manager of Corcoran Commons. A self-described “professional grocery shopper,” Meghan works to plan the menus for Lower Live, Addie’s, and the Market, in addition to supporting team Corcoran on the day-to-day. Meghan’s love for food is a lifelong passion. “I learned to cook from my dad,” said Hale. “We used to cook pancakes every Saturday morning. And then there was Food Network – growing up, I watched all of the cake competitions, drew my own cakes, and tried my own recipes.” Following her childhood dream, Meghan attended Johnson and Wales to pursue her dream of becoming a chef. “I studied abroad in France,” said Hale. “I spent the weekends traveling, and spent the weeks working in a castle in Southern France learning to make pastries.” After graduating, Hale decided she wanted to pursue the management side of culinary work. “I love talking to people, learning different things from people I work with,” said Hale. “That’s what I love most about B...
