Today, breaking news with Wolf Blitzer on CNN. Fulton County DA Fani Willis gets to stay on and see through the criminal case against former president Donald Trump and his allies. It’s a case that’s been three years in the making, and before today, there were real concerns that the DA would be thrown off the case. Ultimately, the judge ruled that she did not enrich herself by hiring Nathan Wade as her deputy, a man whom she was involved with romantically. However, the ruling came with some sharp words from the judge who criticized her behavior on the stand as “unprofessional” and said she repeatedly made bad choices by engaging in the romance.
Here’s one of my reports today on CNN.
