do I miss BRMM? I miss it a lot! It sucks not being out on the field and traveling to schools for exhibitions. Being in BRMM for 1 year as a member and 2 years as their photographer has molded me as a musician. I’ve always been in a concert band since 7th grade as a percussionist. In 10th grade, I started playing bassoon and up to this date, I love playing it. While I couldn't march a bassoon on the field, in 11th grade I marched a tenor sax. Being able to play different types of instruments has shown me that it’s okay to go out of my comfort zone. If I didn’t switch from percussion to bassoon, I wouldn’t know how that would go.
