Everyone has their hurdles. I found that mine have always been my own thoughts. . When I played, I was better at hiding how much my failures affected me than at moving passed them. My goal was to look like I had it together. I knew I was the one that had to deal with what was going on inside of me anyways, so why would I burden others with talking about it? . I had the first part right. I was the one who had the power to get through the thoughts, but what I didn't realize was that I didn't have the tools yet. I needed people. It's OK to need them. . Maybe if we think we don't talk about what's going on, they wont realize how hurt we are by our own failure. . Maybe people won't see the mess going on inside of us. But then how do we climb out? How do we get better & healthy? Isn't that the most important? . There's power in reaching out to those around you. What I didn't understand before was that there's strength in vulnerability. Ask for help. Be OK with knowing that you're GROWING. Yo...
