Dr. Mabel Heath Palmer, a chiropractor and anatomist, left an indelible mark on the field of chiropractic. In 1918, she penned the first anatomical textbook for chiropractic students, ' Anatomy,' a groundbreaking work that shaped the education of chiropractic practitioners for decades. Her leadership at Palmer College, where she taught anatomical instruction for 40 years, was instrumental in developing the field. Not content with these achievements, she founded Sigma Phi Chi, the world's first chiropractic sorority, fostering professional camaraderie among students. Dr. Palmer's pioneering spirit and dedication to anatomical study continue to influence the chiropractic community today, inspiring generations of chiropractors.
