I started Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace journey last January. I saved my emergency fund. I went through everything: got rid of those subscriptions I didn’t need, got rid of clothes I wasn’t wearing, got rid of household stuff that I didn’t use anymore. I prayed to stay dedicated and focused. Hebrews 12:1 was my go to verse. I worked overtime. I took full advantage of the government pausing student loan payments and began throwing money at them. I fully embraced the Debt Snowball and let that baby roll. My goal was to be debt free by September so I could take myself on vacation and take my debt free picture on the beach. I did it.
