As soon as our last payment for my student loans processes, we can say WE DID IT! We got serious about our debt free journey in May of last year. We definitely had our slip ups because we’re human, BUT that didn’t stop us!! We didn’t give up & can proudly say we owe no man, company, or institution ANY money, which means we’re one step closer to saving, spending, & most importantly giving the way we’ve always wanted to! Because of budgeting & telling our money where to go instead of wondering where it went, we were also able to GIVE more than we’ve ever been able to while tackling all this debt. It’s such a joy to bless others in that way, knowing we’ve set money aside for that exact purpose! Now we’re on to Baby Step 3, which is fully funding our emergency fund for some peace of mind!
