SO proud of you guys! #repost @jesskalber10 We did it!! $175,000 in 17 months!! 17 months ago we sat down and realized we were sick and tired of seeing our good income vanish before our eyes, so much debt, and so much mindless spending. If anyone knows me, they know that I am a big spender and changing my ways was not going to be an easy task. We made a budget and we stuck to it, we made a list of our debts smallest to largest, I made a spreadsheet to make sure we stayed in track. Was it always easy, no, but we had an end goal in mind and God led us the rest of the way. Last week on our oldest son’s 7th Birthday he had the honor of hitting submit on our final payment. To say, it was a weight lifted off our shoulders is an understatement. These past 17 months we have learned so much together as a family and learned how working together we can do anything.
