This process has been challenging, but well worth it. We first took Finance Peace University at First Baptist Church in Russellville, AR, back in 2016. It was life-changing. Shortly after, we started to get on a budget, but it was tough. Then, we moved to Birmingham, AL, and began to lead FPU at clcbham. Being FPU Coordinators was a great source of accountability. Reading books from daveramsey and watching people on his podcast do their debt-free scream made the dream seem achievable.
