Before taking Financial Peace University, I had no real plan or control of my money, and only paid $3568.23 on my loans in about 18 months. Those 18 months included a grace period, deferment and consolidation. I knew that if I continued at a snail’s pace, I would be paying my loans well into my sixties! I saw a FB post about Financial Peace University, and the rest is history. At the end of 2016, I set a goal to pay off my loans by the end of 2020, and here I am! Accounting for the payments made before I got serious, my total payoff is $107,464.32. There are no words to describe the joy and peace I feel!
