There were 8 of them y’all, not proud of that number and even more so the debt that accrued while they were in our back pockets. But, before taking FPU (Financial Peace University) : we thought having debt was just “normal”, something pretty much everyone had. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The classes were a BIG eye opener, even to Danny, who has always been really good with numbers and not what you would call or daveramsey would call the “free spirited one” of the relationship - (he’s the “nerd” 😝). As of yesterday, we now OWN our van! We not only paid it off in full but 3 YEARS earlier! The bank no longer owns it. 🙅🏼‍♀️ naive as we were also thought, even with a car loan and payments that the van was ours. But it wasn’t, it was the banks - that is until yesterday!
