When namebrand__yoder and I started FPU last November I never imagined we could be #debtfree by summer!! Fast forward six months and we’ve payed off our car loan and my student loans. We didn’t do this by increasing our income, in fact over the winter months our income tends to decrease due to the nature of owning a seasonal business. We committed our selves to follow the baby steps to financial freedom. Previously we saved up as much as we could every month towards buying a house and made monthly payments on our loans. Following the plan we took our savings account down to the $1,000 emergency fund and started the debt snowball method. This took a lot of faith in the process!
