πππ!!! Paying off student loans is NO JOKE! I graduated with my masters degree May of 2018 with $70,000 of debt, and began my minimal payment ($358) towards my loans with my first job which started in July 2018. .
In November of 2018, I got a new job, my first βreal jobβ using my degree, and started my
#debtfreejourney by paying $3,000 a month. My commute is about an hour, so money management podcasts like daveramsey were constant. As of TODAY, January 29 2020, I am FREEEEEE!!!!!ππΌ .
During my debt-free journey I:
π lived with my parents-though this wasnβt necessarily ideal as a 24 year old, I was able to pay about a $1,000 extra towards loans. Thanks so much mom and dad! (& this weekend Iβm moving outππΌ) -
πI avoided the toll way-my first month I used the tollway and my bill was $300π It took a few days to adjust to the longer drive and the stop lights, but it saved me so much money! .
