Awesome. Proud of you guys! #repost avicwest It’s been a busy, crazy couple of months, but we don’t want to miss sharing some happy news that will hopefully inspire others! On November 15th, 2019, David and I paid the very last chunk on a student loan (that I had been keeping around for the last 18 years, like a pet :/ ) and officially became DEBT FREE. We paid off 65K in 23 months, including our car loan, debt from our wedding, and our student loans. We did this by following daveramsey and his baby steps - we are SO GRATEFUL for Dave and his team and all they do to teach God's path to financial freedom. We sacrificed a lot, said NO a lot, missed a lot. We even “cancelled” Christmas in 2018. Every bit of it was WORTH IT! We are now totally FREE, and are well on our way to becoming home owners. We were also able to increase our giving to God (via our church) by 300%!! Our baby girl will come into this world in just a few months, with zero debt, and with her family tree changed forever...
