We graduated from college a few months ago, but with that came roughly $26,000 in student loans to pay off. Today, we made our last student loan payment. Before we got married, my dad enrolled us in Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class. We learned SO MUCH about how to handle our money based on the Bible’s teachings. We used this to make a plan. We began making our first budget, which took awhile to nail down. We struggled realizing we had to say no to ALOT more things like eating out, going shopping, or treating ourselves. We started attacking the student loans using the debt snowball method, and began paying the loans off while we were still in our grace period. Honestly, all of these sacrifices was a huge blessing. Eating out less forced me to focus on my health, and in result I am feeling SO good- physically, financially, spiritually- all around! We are not...
