I wasn’t on board at first and then I saw how much more we can do for our future, for our family. Since the day we got married, we got serious on planning for our future - saying no and tackling all of our debts. Between my husband and I, working 2 full time jobs, plus my husband working his side gig at McDonalds, living off of one paycheck, budgeting for every dollar, cutting down on going out to eat, meal prepping, canceled gym memberships & turned our garage into a gym (we budgeted for that), all bonuses went to paying off debt, canceled all cell phone insurance, bought-out our phones instead of leasing it, and canceled cable.
