In celebration of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s birthday, we want to highlight a few of the causes RBG fought for throughout her career, including equal pay, women’s rights, and same-sex marriage.
Ginsburg co-founded the Women’s Rights Project at ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) in 1972 to combat discrimination on the basis of sex. She was also a fierce defender of the Equal Pay Act, and became the first Supreme Court justice to officiate a same-sex marriage.
Throughout her life, RBG remained committed to the causes she cared about most, and her long list of accomplishments is reflective of this dedication.
Share this with someone who needs an encouraging reminder to fight for the things that matter.
