Sept 2017 we took #FinancialPeaceUniversity and realized our net worth was $0 😅. Thanks to daveramsey we learned the tools that would change our lives and our family tree. Oct 2017 we did our first budget & started attacking our debt $109k of student loans. We were also self employed running our own real estate team. In 2018 we realized we owed $64k in tax debt 😫. This journey was NOT easy - we sacrificed a lot, denied ourselves many comforts, there were tears & frustrations, but we kept our eyes on the prize. We’re now on the other side with a stronger marriage and hope for our future. We celebrate now and get back on the grind for our next “impossible” goal - homeownership in the Silicon Valley.
