A combination of student loans, a car loan, credit card debt, and phone payments totaled $27,683. I am praising the Lord for opening my husband's eyes to learning more about how we too could become debt free, like so many others. I was not on board at all but God did a work in my heart and I started joining my husband in this journey! The biggest thing for me was I didn't want to have to say no and to have a dreaded "budget". I had a negative mindset in regards to the word, and money in general. God met me where I was though, and my mindset started to shift as my husband patiently explained the daveramsey plan with me.
