I paid off two additional credit cards this month, which brings it to a total of SIX credit cards totaling $2,566.45 paid in the last two months. For many it might not seem like a lot, but for me there is such gratification in knowing exactly where that $2,566.45 went. Two months ago that money would have been spent on mindless purchases that I wouldn’t have even been able to remember. Mindlessly swiping my debit card. I thought because all my bills were paid on time monthly, I could spend the extra money I had any way I wanted. Little did I know that paying monthly bills on time doesn’t make you in control of your finances- it simply makes you a slave to them.
