We were completely "normal" with $59K of debt from student loans, credit cards, a car loan, furniture payments, and a 401k loan. Twenty-three months ago, we discovered #DaveRamsey and read the Total Money Makeover and decided enough was enough. I'll admit that at first, we were not as "gazelle-intense" as we needed to be, but we kicked it into high gear during our last 10 months of our #debtfreejourney. We budgeted using EveryDollar, worked overtime, sold a few things, and paid off $59K in 23 months while cash flowing unexpected expenses and repairs to our cars. Baby step 2 is complete ✅ and it's safe to say we're officially "weird" and debt free!
