So cool! 👏 #Repost frugalkittens ・・・ This sweet girl (age 9) has been saving her commission from snow shoveling for a few months now and has $30 that she will be donating to our church food bank that we volunteer at weekly! A wonderful organization is matching all donations made during March and so this will be a collaborative contribution of $60. She decided when we began using the envelope system to organize her money what she wanted to contribute to each. And her goal from the beginning was to do this. . She has a giving, savings, and spending envelope that she puts her cash into when she earns it or is gifted. These envelopes are a great tool to teach kids about saving money and helping them reach goals that matter to them.
