It has been a long 3.5 years of following daveramsey guidelines, monthly budgeting, saying lots of “no” to spending, teaming as a couple, & trusting the Lord to provide - but it was worth every second of it. We were able to pay off two sets of student loans, medical bills, & credit cards! • • What we have learned through all of this might be an even better feeling than this taste of financial freedom. We experienced learning to team together & make hard decisions (especially when we don’t agree!). We gained a Biblical view of our money as belonging to the Lord, & to honor Him with our money by stewarding it well. We have been able to see God’s faithfulness first hand in answering prayers for things we needed, & things we desired!
