"I was working in ministry and doubting my salvation. I fell in love with Jesus in high school, but then started believing a lot of lies when I was working with high school students in my first job after college. There was so much anxiety, fear, and shame, feeling for whatever reason like I didn't have the faith I used to have. But here's the thing: it's not about how much faith I have, but only about what He's done. It's not about what I bring to the table at all! That's why it's called grace. I can't muster up enough faith to make Jesus love me, He just does. I think God let me go through a tough time to understand that. It's not about me at all. Do I still struggle with doubt? Yeah. But I'm human. That's why I need Jesus. He's so patient and kind and forgiving. He's brought me into the light with this community at PCC. To be in this environment where vulnerability is encouraged has been so great - it's not easy but it's always worth it. We need that."
