Can you imagine a 10-foot-tall (3 meter) version of a Stories sticker on a #SydneyMardiGras float?! (We did.) 🌈 London-based illustrator Josh McKenna (jshmck) learned the news that we wanted to bring his sticker to life via email late at night. “I couldn’t quite believe what I was reading,” says Josh. “I couldn’t reply quick enough and was keen to hear more about the design process and manufacturing of the figure becoming 3D.” He was on the ground at Sydney’s annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras celebration to see the float IRL. Josh created this sticker as a symbol of empowerment and encouragement. “The figure itself doesn’t have a name, as I want it to be open to interpretation, but visually was taken from vogue dancers of the past. He also works on a level with many people to express sassy feelings and excitement for a weekend, a party or general ‘YASSS’ moments!” #FearlessStories
