Or I didn’t eat. That forced me to come up with creative ways to “put my opponent over” to the fans leading up to my PPV. If I can make the fans feel my passion for “laying the Smackdown on all my opponents candy asses” 🤣, then the fans would be more willing to buy the PPV. And they did. I’d never crap on my opponents or call them bums. The more I put my opponent over, the better - so when I beat him - I beat somebody special. Of course, pro wrestling is much different than MMA, but the philosophy still applies and it’s been very cool to see some ufc fighters adopt this strategy. Because at the end of the day, I want all ufc fighters and wwe wrestlers to make as much money as they possibly can. Control the controllable’s.
