🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 The monument at the northeast entrance to Apache Junction on State Route 88 and Hackamore Road has been revitalized, thanks to the incredible efforts of a dedicated group of individuals. Despite the wear and tear over the years, this well-known landmark now shines brightly once again. The collaborative project, supported by Mayor Chip Wilson, the Apache Junction Parks and Recreation department, Pinal County Supervisor Jeff Serdy's office and the local chapter of the Modern Woodmen of America has brought new life to the space around the monument. Native vegetation species were donated for the renovation and Siphon Draw Fire and Fuels provided planting and watering services. Additionally, four saguaros were relocated to the location, preserving these iconic plants.
