Story time.... A month ago a woman named Jennifer reached out to me to capture her son's Army boot camp graduation, when I looked at her inquiry I realized her area code was from Ventura, CA. This naturally got me really excited that someone from California found me out here in #FortLostInTheWoods, but it gets better. Through conversation, we discover that her husband is a retired Navy Seabee and knew a lot of the people we knew. It's moments like these that really make this giant world feel so small. Randomly connecting with a client that ends up being connected to your life in other ways. Meeting them in person felt like reuniting with old friends, capturing their son's accomplishments was an honor, and being able to photograph their love and bond was a true joy.
