All too common is the concern for ease and comfort. Passiveness is unsustainable and unfulfilling. Moreover, it is disrespectful–to yourself, to your significant other, to your friends and family, and most importantly to God. When we are saved from sin, having confessed Jesus as Lord, that isn’t the end of the story. We don’t just continue living as we were before: abounding in sin. We take action to seek after God always, to imitate Jesus, to listen to the Holy Spirit for guidance, to do what God has called us to do.
