Jesus has overcome the grave and rose again into heaven where he waits until the day of the LORD, where he will come again. This earth and resurrection was so that the broken might be made whole. There was a thief on the cross next to Jesus. He never went to church, never knew Jesus until the cross, never repented of his sins, never prayed or read scripture. Even so, he followed Jesus into heaven. This man recognized Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God and had faith that Jesus would save him. This is an example of the faith we need, that despite our past, our brokenness, failures, suffering, inadequacy, etc, we know that Jesus will save us because loves us so much. As Romans ...
